10 Mantras For Positive Mental Health

(I’ll admit that these aren’t the most creative of designs, but I wanted to avoid plagiarising someone else’s work).

Since sinking further into the depths of mental illness 7 years ago, I have come to rely on the use of mantras as a coping mechanism, a distraction technique. It is because of this that I have various quotes situated throughout my home- wall canvases, metal signs, wooden hearts, and even a photo frame that I designed in memory of my mum. I also have a journal in which I have written my favourite mantras, a mindfulness jar, and a book of quotes that I was given for Christmas.

While I have to say that said mantras provide little comfort during a crisis, in my case the result of having borderline personality disorder, reading them in the midst of a mood dip does help to instill a level of positivity. It is all about finding the quotes that you can relate to.

Do you have any favourite quotes? I would love to read them in the comments.
